These images were taken on my second trip to Laos in 2010. I was captivated by the beauty of the landscape that was matched by the beauty of it’s people. I traveled from the capital city of Vientiane, through the karst mountains of Vang Vieng, then north to the french colonial atmosphere of Luang Prabang. I was last here in the 90’s and since then, it has become an UNESCO World Heritage Site. With it’s 32 temples situated on the banks of the Mekong River, known as the Mother of Rivers, I knew I would return again.
