Stories | Bhutan

Bhutan is the only Buddhist Kingdom in the world, and its yearly Gross National Product is measured in happiness. It lies between two of the world’s largest countries, India and China, and yet remains one of today’s last hidden treasures. This is a country where over 20% of the population are practicing monks. With their first recent democratic elections over three years ago, Bhutan still remains a country whose purpose is to conserve their culture and traditions, and a place where Buddhism and happiness go hand in hand.
