for sven from louis

This afternoon we went in search of a small little restaurant our dear friend Sven recommended; the Brasserie de St. Louis. His recommendation: “You have two islands on the Seine river, the Isle de la Cite (with the church of Notre Dame) and adjacent the Isle St. Louis. On the back of the church, there is a little bridge that joins the two islands. As you cross that bridge, on your left you find the Brasserie de St. Louis, which is a bistro with a particular dish that you must eat: Jarret de Porc avec choucrout (Piglet leg with sourcrout). It is finger licking good. Have a glass of red wine with it and enjoy.” Sven, it was amazing…ok, but we had it with lentils instead! We gave a toast to you, although we would have loved to have you with us more than anything!
