Last week-end Gaby and Marcus celebrated their wedding at the Rosewood here in San Miguel…this is one of my favorite seasons …jacaranda’s blooming, warm evening air, Easter celebrations around the corner! Gaby and her two sisters were a site of serene beauty, so caring and loving with each other one couldn’t help but smile with love. Best wishes to the two of you!

She’s a force of nature; he’s the calm one…and together, they complement each other so well you can’t help but smile at the sweetness. Janelle and Carlos, what a gorgeous couple! From Miami to Europe, from all over the world…over 200 hundred family and friends gathered to celebrate over three days in Mexico. Not even rain stopped this group from enjoying every minute….it was a garden of hidden treasures at Hyder House and an evening to remember. Abrazos!

She is an incredible Mexican artists based in San Miguel de Allende and renown for her glass casting work… Together with her assistant Luisa Restrepo who does amazing work as well, they guided a small group of us to explore the first steps in glass.

Its not easy…not even close…but boy, there is something so exhilarating in pouring the glass into your mold….here are a few  photos of the bugs about to get sizzled…..smelly…
