Howling winds fuel the endless surge
of the waves breaking on the wall
Stars shine in the Havana sky
as if to answer the wind’s defiant call
Attacked on all sides and battered

charming quebec city
Quebec City is really a gem, only an hour from NY by plane…and in the winter (February) so many activities! The streets are filled with ice bars and castles, dog sledding, and the famous ice canoeing races…and such gorgeous architecture!
